We visit wineries. We watch industry and consumer ratings. We follow fine-dining trends. Finally, and most importantly . . . we taste. That’s the best part of the job: every quarter, the panel assembles with their notes and best candidates and the tasting begins. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it! At the tasting table, we look for wines that stand out in some way. Some are exceptionally innovative. Some are exceptional values. Some are simply exceptional.
